For a number of years the Enfield EBP has worked with the Metropolitan Police to offer the Junior Citizens programme to Year 6 pupils.

Junior Citizens offers children the opportunity to take part in an event to raise awareness of Health and Safety in and out of the home as well as helping the children consider how to become good citizens.

The Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade and many other organisations provide a range of workshop scenarios including how to behave on public transport, the 'Hazard House', dialling 999 in an emergency, first aid skills, respecting the environment and road safety.

This programme is always popular with schools and there are now 2 two-week programmes each year with over two thousand pupils from Enfield primary schools benefitting from this experience.
